Academy privacy notice
Updated November 2, 2026
Vapi Academy provides internal telephony, SIP, and contact center training for Vapi Sales Engineering and Customer Success. This notice describes how this training app handles information.
Google sign-in
We request basic Google identity access: OpenID, email, and profile. Google supplies your account identifier and basic profile information, including your name, email address, verified-email status, and Workspace domain. We use this information to verify that you have a verified vapi.ai Workspace account and to establish your signed-in session. The app does not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or other Google content.
Cookies and training progress
Your browser receives an encrypted, HttpOnly login cookie containing your Google account identifier, name, email address, and authorization details. Access expires eight hours after sign-in; signing out clears the session cookie. Temporary cookies protect the sign-in process. Google access and refresh tokens are not saved in your Academy session.
Module progress is saved in this browser's local storage. It records module identifiers, completion state, and the last visited module; it is not linked to your Google identity in a server database. It does not sync across browsers or devices. Exercise answers, solution diagrams, and notes remain in page memory and are cleared when you refresh or leave. The app does not send them to a training-results server.
Hosting and sharing
Google handles authentication, and Amazon Web Services hosts the app. These services process the information needed to provide their services. Hosting and security systems may process technical connection information such as IP addresses and error information. The app records authentication error codes for troubleshooting and does not enable analytics or advertising trackers. It does not sell your Google identity information, use it for advertising, or send learner answers to an AI service.
Your choices
Sign out to clear your session. Clear this site's browser data to erase saved module progress and cookies. You can review or revoke the app's Google authorization in your Google Account connections. Google also explains its processing in its Privacy Policy.
